‚VDRules

1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009-2012, the current Class Rules of each class association (except of any of these are altered by these Sailing Instructions), and these Sailing Instructions.

2 If there is a conflict, these Sailing Instructions will take precedence.

   Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority.

    The sailing instructions will be specified in the regatta program to distribute at the time of the reception on July 31st 2009.

Also, it will be made public in the home page of JJYU and Tokyo Pref. Sailing Federation beforehand by 10th July 2009.

 9DScoring and Number of races

     1 The individual race in every each class

Low Point Scoring System, appendix A of Racing Rules will be used.

    Seven races are planned during two days and at least one race must be@completed to constitute the series.

        When 7 races have been completed, a boatfs score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score, when fewer than 7 races have been completed, a boatfs series score will be the total of her race scores.

     2 The club confrontation race will be carried out in this regatta.

The scoring and details will be shown by the sailing instructions.

10 . Courses
Regatta courses will be a windward-leeward-triangle course.           

11 . Eligibility and Sailor age in each class

1 The sailors of the junior yacht clubs which has joined in JJYU.

2 The sailors of the overseas team who the organizing authority invited.

3 The sailors who the organizing authority accepted.

4 The sailors who fill the age limit of each classes.

12DCommendation and Prizes

     Commendation and Prizes will be given as follows:

@@ 1 The champions and excellent sailors of each class in all sailors.

     2 The champions and excellent club in the club confrontation race.

     3 Others

 

13DFees and Accommodation

    1 The entry fees and boats charter fees of overseas teams are no charge by invitation of the organizing authority.

    2 Their accommodation and meal fees will be prepared for five days for the overseas team of Europe and Oceania, and for four days for the overseas team of Asia and Russia. When needing to be stayed more than this period, one person per day of about 7000 yen will be needed.

 

14DTransportations

@   1 According to the area of the overseas team, a part of voyage expense of team will be supported by the organizing authority.

@   2 Several bus services are available daily between Narita International Airport and Tokyo City Air Terminal near the Harumi Grand Hotel.

    3 The organizing authority may arrange free buses between Narita International Airport and Harumi Grand Hotel for big groups if requested in advance.

@  4 Buss or cars will be prepared for daily traffic between the stay hotel and Regatta Place in this regatta period.

15. Disclaimer
        Competitors compete entirely at their own risk and responsibility. The Organizing
     Authority and any other parties involved in the organization of the regatta accept
     no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss or claim whether personal or
     material, incurred by or inflicted to participants before, during or after the regatta.
